19,345 ranked matches (All Pick, Immortal) from 10/10, the last full day, with data from STRATZ. The cards show the 6 highest-scoring heroes of the role, from the highest to the lowest win rate. The score (0 to 99) adds 70% of the hero's position in adjusted win rate and 30% of its position in contest rate in the role (the pick rate plus the hero's bans, in the share of its picks in that role), among the heroes of the role; the tier comes from it: S from 80, A from 65, B from 50, C from 35 and D below.

STRATZ does not report duration by role, so the duration columns show the hero across all roles (OpenDota, last 24 hours).
- Score (default order)
- Ranging from 0 to 99 (the best hero, who would score 100, appears as 99), similar to the Dota2ProTracker score, it combines performance and draft priority: 70% based on the hero's position in adjusted win rate and 30% on their position in contest rate among the heroes in the table; the tier is derived from this score (S from 80, A from 65, B from 50, C from 35, and D below that). Adjusted win rate represents the win rate guaranteed by the sample with 95% confidence (the lower bound of the Wilson interval): 6 wins in 8 games (75%) equate to 41%, whereas 550 wins in 1,000 games (55%) equate to 52%. Thus, heroes with small sample sizes do not reach the top by chance.
- Sorting
- Click a column header to sort from highest to lowest; a second click sorts from lowest to highest, and a third removes the column from the sort criteria. If you click additional columns, they serve as tie-breakers based on the order of clicks (indicated by the number next to the arrow). With no columns selected, the default sort order (by score) applies.
- Pick rate
- The proportion of matches within the filter in which the hero was chosen.
- Contest rate
- The proportion of matches in which the hero was picked or banned: their draft priority. The ban rate is derived from the 543 matches in the filter with retrieved details—the only ones that include draft; with fewer than 50 such matches, the sample size is too small, and the contest rate relies solely on the pick rate. In the role tabs, bans are factored into the hero's pick share for that role.
- Win rate by duration
- Shows the stage where the hero performs best: early-game heroes fall off in long matches, while late-game heroes thrive in them. Hover your mouse to see the number of matches.
- Period
- Public matches from the last 24 hours—the current meta. Data by role comes from STRATZ, which compiles daily figures; the data reflects the last full day.
- Rank
- Average public match rank: all ranks from Divine upwards, or just Divine, or just Immortal. To compare with the "Pubs 7000+ MMR" tab on Dota2ProTracker, select Immortal. OpenDota caps the average at 75 (Divine 5), so "Immortal (75+)" groups matches with an average Divine 5 and Immortal—the closest it gets to reporting high MMR —whereas in STRATZ's role-based data, it represents actual Immortal.
